Excellent place, lovely views over the river. Only a short walk (1.5 mile) to town. Or walk along the canal to either town or to horseshoe falls with the quaint church. If you are feeling energetic take a walk up to "Castell Dinas Bran" where the views are worth it.

Whilst we were at this beautifully located house, we had no hot water and no heating apart from the electric heater in the main living room, the boiler continually went out. I am about to contact customer services.

This is in a great location and the steam trains are a wonderful bonus. The accommodation is in a perfect location. This was our third visit and we would definitely go back. Our only comments would be that the accommodation is a bit tired and in need of some TLC. We appreciate we were visiting at the end of the season and understand that the matter is to be addressed.

This is a great house in a fabulous location particularly if you like trains and go when they are running because tickets come free and the railway is fantastic!! There is wonderful walking nearby to some fabulous places. The hotel opposite is lovely and serves excellent food. The house itself is a little bit basic, particularly the bathrooms and kitchen and ground floor bedroom but that is more than compensated for by the location and other comforts. The lounge is lovely and cosy with a supply of books and ? some games. The parking is tight (Fine for one car really) but you can park over the other side of the river and walk across the Chainbridge. The views are fantastic with the river, the bridge and the railway.

What a location! And a variety of steam/diesel trains running past during most days was the icing on the cake for me. The inclusive travel pass was well utilised. Exceedingly comfortable accomodation with everything we needed. LLangollen within walking distance for supplies/eateries - the car never moved all week! Railway staff were warm and friendly, as were most locals we spoke to.

Everything was wonderful, apart from parking the actual parking for one car is ok but found that a lack of no parking sign or residents only sign made issues .We took the car out after managing to shut the gates behind us but someone opened them again and parked their car so we could not park anywhere ,the hotel car park is a way and i think you should not have to park elsewhere ,so we did not take the car out again for fear of not being able to park next to the house ,we spent most of our time on the train but very enjoyable week the station staff were Very Nice a great cup of tea or coffee and lots to eat ,i will book again thank you.Marilyn from Kent .
