It is located just under 5 miles from the popular seaside town of Bude. There are three bedrooms; a kingsize bedroom, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom, and there’s a shower room with a double shower cubicle. Relax in the living room by the wood burner while watching TV, or head out through the patio doors leading into the enclosed garden. The kitchen/dining room offers everything you’ll need for your stay to cook up a storm and has patio doors leading out onto the large decking.
Located in the historic village of Kilkhampton which has various local facilities including pubs and supermarkets, the property is also not far from various beaches. If you’re looking for lots of sand, swimming, and surf then you’ll be spoiled for choice, with the nearest beach being about 4 miles away. Much of the coastline in this area is owned by the National Trust and is a haven for wildlife, providing fabulous walking opportunities. There are many pretty coves and inlets to discover within a short drive including Crackington Haven, Boscastle, Morwenstow and stunning Tintagel, inextricably linked to the legend of King Arthur. Further afield, the fishing port of Padstow is a popular tourist destination.
Bude has something for everyone including great beaches for relaxing and building sandcastles on, rockpools for investigating at low tide, and cafés to watch it all from. The rolling waves are great for surfing all year round, and the footpaths by the restored canal or on the South West Coast Path offer you a superb opportunity to explore and appreciate the outstanding countryside. Bude also has a superb golf course, indoor swimming pool, bowling alley/indoor play area and a heritage centre at Bude Castle. If Bude’s beaches aren’t enough for you then North Devon will leave you spoilt for choice with Saunton, Woolacombe, Croyde and Westward Ho! Beaches – some of the best in the country! Beach 3½ miles.
