This is a very tastefully presented cottage in a wonderful part of Yorkshire. We chose it because we could see from the website that it was all on one level and I am disabled. However, level does not mean accessible and there are one or two changes to make for it to be really usable by a disabled person. The owner does not describe it as accessible, but it could be made so. Some of the kitchen ware is very worn and needs replacing. Otherwise, charming and delightful with lambs in the field next door as an added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay.
Lovely cottage to stay in, a bit of a trek to the pub if you are into your evening pint. Facilities are good, bed very comfortable, and location good to get to other destinations
Very good host, lovely cottage.
We had a very pleasant short break in the area and it is always nice to know that there is a comfortable warm base to go back to with all the required facilities. In addition the owners were very welcoming and available if needed.

An excellent choice. Very welcoming on arrival. Everything we needed for a week's stay. Good facilities and comfort. No cause for any complaint at all.
An excellent location for visits to the many national options available e.g. York, Scarborough, Ripon, Pickering, also many local market towns. Good selection of places to eat locally.
