    Comfort and Equipment

    Value for money

Great apartment with the benefit of parking. Plenty of great restaurants/cafes/take-aways and supermarkets on the door step.

Great location on a quiet street, & only a few minutes walk to the Buses & Trains. Very comfy, with adequate facilities if you wanted to cook. One bedroom was a tad small, but the bed was very good for my back, but had to manage the pillows, as I suffer from Spondylosis (Neck). Always woke & returned to a warm apartment. A variety of dvd's , maps & visitor leaflets were also included. The week seemed to rush by, & we really didn't want to leave. Have already booked for 2020 - can't wait.

Very uncomfortable beds and sofas. Strong smell of damp in bedrooms

Suited us perfectly, a great find - plenty of space for a family of 4 and spot on location. The only thing is the mattress in the main bedroom was a bit too firm so gave us both a bad back.

Well kitted our for short stays, with tumble drier and washing machine a real bonus. Not ultra modern but clean and functional. Dedicated undercover parking bay very handy given close proximity to Windermere shops/cafes/bars. Would stay again

Excellent home-from-home. Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Lovely view from living room. Secure parking through automatic gates. In all, a lovely base that we hope to return to in the future. Also, very good value for money! We were sorry to leave!

    out of 10

Excellent 1st floor accommodation for 2 adults with good undercover secure gated parking, situated in quiet part of Windermere behind High Street. Apartment has all you need in the kitchen as well as a hairdryer in main bedroom. Useful Ordnance survey maps in lounge re all lake district area. Good that it does not have Wi-Fi......you are on holiday!!! TV is limited on basic freeview channels.

    out of 10

A great location so close to Windermere town centre and bus stop. The apartment is comfortable and has all you would need on holiday.

    out of 10

Great location and good value for money. Bedrooms very small but fine for the stay. Would expect fridge and water supply to be on rather than having to trawl through information and cupboards. Nevertheless only minor points and would stay again.

    out of 10

The heating system was a nuisance, timer didn't seem to work consistently and resetting was challenging.

    out of 10

We had a lovely stay in Birchthwaite, a very comfortable flat extremely close to local restaurants and shops with great parking facilities as the surrounding streets are very difficult to park on.
