There was no local shop as described. There was a high chair in the property. When I phoned to ask if there was one, I was told 'no' so I brought my own. On arrival the beds were not made. The cleaner arrived later to make the beds. The house had a smell of dampness. On the whole, the house was comfortable for all 11 of us. There was plenty of space, things for the kids to do and plenty of equipment to make our stay enjoyable.

We had a fantastic holiday at Blink Bonnie, with great views of the harbour. Watching the P&O ferries be loaded and watching them set off in the morning was a great view, much better then watching the tv! About 30 mins drive from Girvan beach which is a great day out. Many rock pools around the area to explore with children! Theres a Tesco 5 miles away which was handy. Blink Bonnie was a very well equipped cottage and very clean! Hats off to the owner! A lovely place :)

Need a bath mat as slipped but other than that the owners really thought about their guests and provided everything we needed for the week. Opposite the ferry post which was nice to see but sometimes noisy. Our bed needed a mattress upgrade but other rooms not as bad. Overall worth a visit.

Really great big house for a big group of people to enjoy. The rooms are a decent sized and the bathrooms and kitchen in good order. The only issue was the towels were not that great and not enough places to dry them all. Not really situated for using the garden, which wasn't an issue for us.

We enjoyed our family holiday in May 2019. But were really disappointed that the description stated shop, restaurant and pub really within yards - there were none of these. the sea was nearby but not at all accessible especially for children and elderly. Pet - not friendly as no gate to main road (or small children.Port Patrick
