Lovely cosy cottage with quality furnishings. Beds were very comfortable. The owner has thought of everything. We were delighted with the cottage. The only issue is parking which is out of the owners control. On street parking on a very narrow street is not ideal but is possible. However, we parked outside the village hall on several occasions. It is a quiet village and the village hall is only a 2 minutes walk around the corner.

Well stocked kitchen, only 13.5 tog duvet for summer (needed to buy another). Parking was problematic every day. Rear access overgrown and messy when wet.

    Excellent small cottage!

While this property was comfortable and well appointed, it is not suitable for anyone with a mobility problem, the internal stairs a case in point. Also parking in the street was hazardous and within an hour of our arrival we had a note put through the door asking is to reposition the car. One of us is a blue badge driver, so parking elsewhere is not really an option. At no time during the booking process was these two issues mentioned. Finally, the welcoming tray was virtually non existent. The tea/coffee and single biscuit portion was distinctly underwhelming. Also, one tea towel and an inadequate wash up was insufficient for a week.

Bobbins is a very well equipped mill worker's cottage in a rural village setting. The beds are very comfortable and the lounge and main bedroom are very spacious. The parking on street is very tricky, but you can overcome this by parking elsewhere in the village if you have to be out early or return late. The neighbours are friendly and the local social club is good for snooker and darts players. There is also a popular pub, 'The Swan', which is specialising in fine dining. The local church is old and has an interesting graveyard. The back road out of the village to Colne is a spectacular drive over the hills. Skipton, with its castle and canals and market street is very nearby. Aldi is so convenient once you get to the main road. The area is popular with cyclists and walkers. It is a very peaceful, rural location and yet convenient for tourist attractions like Skipton, Haworth, Malham etc.
