A lovely family holiday. Quiet location. We've stayed on many farms over the years, but there seems to be a fly problem in the property. We had to vacuum dead flies every day from three of the bedrooms, were unable to open windows as the flies seemed to have nested within the window frame. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay. Kitchen could maybe benefit from new frying pans. Would also recommend a visitors book with information on recycling, when to put out etc, there is no information available. There was a planned power outage which we were not made aware of, thankfully the very nice lady next door came round to tell us otherwise we would have been unaware the power was going to be out for the majority of the day. Suggest if this occurs in the future, the owner should inform the booking company or contact the holiday makers directly to give an advanced warning, assuming they have all post re-directed directly to them. The sofas were on the low side for older guests but they are comfortable.

The house was lovely and was a great size for our three families. But some minor niggles, no welcome pack no imfomation on recycling waste, operation of central heating. One of the biggest disappointments was the games room web site picture showing pool table bar football and air hockey but there was only the pool table. Also poor utensils in kitchen, no scales no wooden spoons. It just needs a bit of attention to small details to make it so much better.

Bounty Manor is a fantastic holiday home for a big family to stay in. It was easy to find and is set back from the main road, down a long driveway. The place is luxurious, with lovely decor, without being so lavish that you’d worry about the kids breaking things. Lots of little details have been thought of. We had 2 under 3’s and so 2 high chairs and 2 travel cots were provided. The travel cots could do with mattresses, as the base is very hard and although we were asked to provide bedding, you wouldn’t normally bring a travel cot mattress. A baby gate was provided, which was an excellent thought, although we had troubles getting it to stay in place and so only used it for the first half of the holidays. There are 4 toilets in total, 2 showers and 2 baths, so plenty of options for different morning routines. The bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of drawers and wardrobes. Some could do with a mirror and the bathrooms could do with a hand towel rail and hooks on the backs of the doors, but these are minor things we could work around. Games were included in the large living room, which easily seated all of us and books in the children’s bedroom, which were great for bedtime. The games room is detached from the house and a great extra space for a bit of a breather, when you have a house full of people you don’t normally live with. Charcoal was provided for the BBQ, which we made use of. The washing machine and tumble dryer meant that we didn’t have to overpack and could deal with any kiddie accidents. The dishwasher was great for quick clean ups and avoiding disputes over the dishes. The fridge and freezer are spacious and the oven was easy to cook with. There is a big dining room and the kitchen chairs are the same as the dining chairs, so we were able to fit everyone at the same table to eat. It made it a lovely sociable place to stay. The place is up for sale, so I don’t know how that will affect future bookings. Bounty Manor is ideally situated a 5-10 min drive from Folly Farm and other family days out, including Tenby beaches and Pembroke Castle. Prices at the local attractions are reasonable, as is parking (e.g. £1.50 for 5 hours of parking at Tenby North Beach). You can have cheap days out exploring the local beaches, or visit one of the tourist destinations at less than half the price they seem to be in the South of England. We crammed in as much as we could, but could have stayed an extra week, there was so much to do. All in all, we had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend it to other families and groups.

Had a great time, 8 adults and a toddler. The house is spacious and in a great location for Tenby, folly farm and Blue Lagoon water park. Better seating outside would a plus. But would definitely recommend.
