Lovely, quiet cottage. Just what we needed to relax and enjoy the company of friends.

Cottage is very spacious. Good quiet location however the lane it's in took a bit of negotiating in the dark. Extremely clean and warm without using the open fire. One en-suite , a bathroom next to another bedroom and a toilet downstairs. The beds were not that comfortable. Water pressure from the showers was excellent. Kitchen /diner seemed fairly well equipped. One disappointing thing was that after a 9 hour drive we had to go back out to get tea, coffee, milk and sugar. Perhaps that says more about us!

Lovely cottage in peaceful location. My family had a great stay here and wouldn't hesitate in returning.

We had everything we could ask for. The cottage was very cosy, I was desperate to put the fire on but being the hottest day of the year the family wouldn’t let me! The only thing I would suggest is changing the garden at the rear. It’s a personal thing as our dog likes to venture off and the chickens were a target so I couldn’t let her out and had to watch her constantly. There is an ‘A’ bench in the garden but it would be nice for some comfortable furniture and a bbq!

Arrived late in the afternoon and the lounge had no heating source other than an open fireplace. There were no logs or ways we could warm the room up on a very cold wet evening. Sat in our outdoor coats in a dimly lit room from overhead lighting. Local pub were very good. Often there is a welcome pint of milk at least in a holiday rental but nothing was provided.
