    Had a fantastic week. The owners were really friendly. Accommodation was very clean and well equipped. Lovely to look out over fields and be situated in an area where wonderful walks were within driving distance. We were really fortunate with the weather which definately helped. Great value for money and for us, we had absolutely no complaints.

    This is a clean, cosy studio apartment. Because of its design it has sloping ceilings in bathroom, kitchen and lounge/bedroom. My husband and I are both tall so we did keep banging our heads so something to consider if you are tall. Also bath quite short for tall people. Owner very friendly and great location for exploring Peak district. Ideal for a weekend break. There is an extension currently going on at the main house which we had not been made aware of. So scaffolding up and because of the extremely wet weather was quite messy underfoot.

    Lovely accommodation in a perfect location. Clean, cosy and comfortable. Zoe, Owen and their family very friendly. Just a pity about the building works!

    There was building work next to the Loft, with building materials in the parking area, creating a lot of dust over our car. This work was started last year and no mention of this was made. Had we known at the time of booking we would not have booked this accommodation. We were only made aware of this when we phoned the owner the day before our break. The patio and garden was shared with owners family which was not made clear on booking details. The village pub was always closed despite stating open 7 days/week, the village shop closed down and main road was noisy all night. The cycle store as advertised appeared to be full of owners belongings, which would matter to some people. In order to eat and drink out, we had to go to another village (Tideswell) some 6 miles away.
