Travel cot and highchair. \n\n Large enclosed garden with sitting-out areas and garden furniture. Grounds. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. \n\n At the end of a quiet terraced street of traditional houses in the coastal fishing village of Findochty this ground floor apartment has been carefully furnished to make a very comfortable and relaxing holiday base for couples or small families. The wonderful rear garden accessed directly from the garden room has a distinctive tropical feel with exotic palms alongside poppies and other colourful plants giving the impression of stepping out into an island paradise\nJust a short walk from the bustling harbour there is a pub serving food where you can watch the comings and goings of the marina at your leisure. There is plenty of heritage to explore on this coastline and activities such as walking sailing fishing diving cycling and golf available locally. During the summer the daylight hours are very long providing every opportunity to enjoy the quality of the local scenery. The amazing coastline ranges from steep cliffs with little fishing villages strung out at the base to fantastic sandy beaches especially at Nairn and Lossiemouth further west. There are many historic castles and gardens to visit from the spectacular ruined Findlater Castle to Duff House in Banff. Pleasant cliff walks can be enjoyed to the neighbouring villages of Cullen and Portknockie where the natural wave cut arch known as Bow Fiddle Rock can be seen. Beach 400 yards. Shop ½ mile pub and restaurant 400 yards. " https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/105/840/10590949.jpg UK5857

Great cottage. Very spacious with a lovely garden. Welcome pack of bread milk eggs etc was very nice. Only drawback was not being able to get internet but that was probably down to my provider (O2) Nice walks around Findochty Would definitely go back

Absolutely lovely, very clean and comfortable. The fleece bed linen was great as we had a couple of really cold days! Lovely wee place and so quiet.

Absolutely fabulous apartment in the quaint and quiet village of Findochty. A perfect way to spend a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable Christmas while also recovering from a serious illness. Apartment very spacious, beautiful garden and dining area, cosy living room, fab kitchen and the best sleeps ever in the large master bedroom. I can't comment on the local pub as it was closed but the walks in the surrounding areas were just lovely. Main supermarkets 15mins drive away roughly. Can imagine it is wonderful during the summer. Only note to future guests is our mobile reception did not work but that was a service provider issue, so check with yours to see if it works. But wifi was great so not a problem in the end. Host Val and the lovely Ruth were beyond helpful. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

We had a lovely weekend in this cosy, clean property. It was well equipped and there were even dog bowls and towels. It was also nice not to have a whole list of rules about what we could and couldn't do

Yes very much I would go back there, I have no qualms about giving Bracken View top score. I have to say the welcome basket was tops, just the right stuff to get you to the next day. It was nice to stay in the cottage as in 2007 we looked at buying one of those when we lived in Elgin, alas work pulled us away. But it was good to be back up there (pity about the long drive forgot about that).
