Brackenthwaite Farm, a hidden gem, is nestled within Arnside and Silverdale Area of Outstanding Beauty. Dating back to the 17th Century and welcoming holiday guests since 1976, the farm is surrounded by fields and woodlands, ideal for those wishing to get away for it all, but still within easy reach of amenities. There is an abundance of walks literally on the doorstep, with the infamous Arnside Knott offering spectacular views over Morecambe Bay only a short drive away, as well as the magical ‘Fairy Steps’ at Beetham within walking distance, or again just a few minutes away by car. The area is also perfect for cycling, an ideal mode of transport to take in all the wonderful sights this area has to offer. Being not too far from the A6, Brackenthwaite Farm is also an ideal base from which to explore the rest of the Lakes. Beetham Nurseries is close by with a garden centre, growing nursery, food hall, home and lifestyle shop, gift shop, garden café and wood fired kitchen, all on one site! Holgates Caravan Park is also worth a visit on rainy days where you can enjoy a gentle swim, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, for ultimate holiday relaxation. Beach 3 miles.
