    A very comfortable stay

Excellent, well equipped and very comfortable house. Good value for money.

The house is very awkward to get to - you either have to reverse up to it, or reverse back down fifty yards of unmade track - and has no view other than of scruffy local houses. The beds and bathrooms were clean (although the bedroom furniture was dusty) but the kitchen was a disgrace, with a tacky floor, greasy (and broken) blinds, and filthy washing up bowl and drainer. We left several pans and trays cleaner than we found them! The house is very dark because the back garden is now a jungle. We can commend the efficient heating, constant hot water, and super shower.

Great location, well equipped. Clean on arrival. The owner is updating the decor inside and out. We would visit again

Lovely house in perfect place for exploring the area and ferry to Skye

Perfect place to stay for exploring local area, Small Isles, Knoydart Peninsula.

    out of 10

Overall an enjoyable holiday. Well catered for children on those many rainy days. Disappointing that silly things had not been remedied: Toaster needs updating as does the boiler, the pressure of the water was not great and the kitchen could be better equipped. Lights are confusing as sometimes they work the beautiful chandelier didn’t work at all. It seemed it was a house that Jack built nonetheless we would return but knowing what we do would ensure we had everything we need.

A comfortable cottage and in a great location to explore the area. Many walks and some fantastic beaches. There are plenty places to eat out that serve local produce. I would recommend Brae Hoose as place to stay. It is an ideal base for a holiday in this beautiful part of Scotland.

Just home from a week spent in Brae Hoose I had a lovely time, the house is fantastic, nice furnishings spotless clean, and the best is it’s dog friendly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend BraeHoose it is part of the village of Arisaig
