Excellent facilities and a comfortable stay - everything has been thought of, we couldn't have wanted anything else - both our four legged friends and us were considered the whole time. Thank you for making it such a great experience.

It’s a wonderful place for a quiet holiday where you take long walks on the beach, and settle down to read a book in the evening, or when the weather dictates. The house is equipped better than our own home, with everything you can need in the kitchen, books and games to have family fun. A great place.

Loved this house and pretty garden. It was probably the best equipped holiday home I have stayed in particularly the kitchen which was massive with a utility room including a full sized fridge freezer which was a novelty itself! This property was very comfortable, spacious and clean with everything thought of from binoculars and OS maps to dog bowls and blankets. We booked a grocery delivery to arrive on the first evening as the nearest shops are a bit of a trek but this did us for the week so we could walk from the house along the coast or strike out for the lakes, many of which are less than an hour away.

This was our 4th visit to brambleside. Unfortunately we didnt enjoy it as much as our previous stays. When driving down the coast road we quickly realised part of the road was closed and there was a very long diversion to get to the house, this made travelling anywhere such a chore. We think this could have been explained to us before arrival. (the locals said it had been like that a while and wpuld be for another 12 weeks.) we started to unpack our suitcases whilst our 4year old daughter played in the play room. We heard a scream and noticed the previous guests must have smashed a glass all over the dolls house. Part of which was stick. In my daughters finger. When i cleaned the dolls house it looked as though it had never been cleaned before. It was very sticky and dirty which we were very shocked at because this house is spotless everywhere else. Another reason we book the house is for the pub next door but one. On arrival we found this to be shut down. There was no Mention of this when booking. On the plus side this house has many great facilities and is well stocked with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The garden has also been refurbished and looks lovely.

Brambleside is an excellent cottage, clean and well facilitated. It is isolated, which is perfect for our needs however, if you want a local shop, the nearest is 3 miles away. Would very much recommend this place.

Very clean. Incredibly well equipped. Kitchen wonderful to cook in. Delia Smith would be more than happy with it. So spacious. Our grandchildren loved it. The games room was brilliant so much to do and even paper to draw on. And boards to do puzzles. Children brought their own toys but didn't get them out as there was so much available. Comfortable beds good quality bedlinen. Our 2nd visit. Loved it. Thank you.

Brambleside is a credit to its owners nothing has been forgotten to make your stay comfortable and welcoming. We have never stayed anywhere else that makes your dog feel as welcome as you. Three generations of one family enjoyed the stay and all would stay again if only to try and score higher in the local pub quiz.(A friendly place to spend an evening) If you are looking for a place to stay whilst exploring the lakes this is it.
