Our second visit to Bramley's Yard. Cosy and well equipped cottage. Great views over the farm from the lounge. Handy for trips to nature reserves at Ham Wall and Avalon Marshes. Shame the local shop 'new-build' has still not opened, but it's only 20 minutes to Glastonbury for supplies. The home-made cakes were much appreciated!

We travelled as a small group of three people. The layout of the barn worked particularly well for us; two equal sized bedrooms and two en suites along with the open plan living accommodation. The barn was lovely and warm, Storm Ciara we stayed nice & cosy. It's a quiet location so do bear that in mind if you are visiting and go prepared with all of your needs. The only reason we have not given this 10/10 is that we felt it could have done with a few basic items such as salt & pepper and oil in the kitchen and we also had to "ration" the toilet roll on our last morning. On the flip side of that, Wendy, the owner made us a delicious victoria sandwich which we really enjoyed. Thank you for a lovely stay, we wouldn't hesitate to return.

A great little barn conversion in a peaceful location not far from walks in the Mendips and for exploring Glastonbury and the surrounding area. Comfortable beds, good showers and a reasonably well equipped kitchen. During our stay the temperatures were well below freezing at night but we found the cottage warm and the wood burning stove made the sitting area very cosy. We will stay here again.

    Lovely quiet cosy cottage.

Very well renovated barn to a high standard in a quiet rural location. Lots of space and good sized beds and rooms. A few points to enhance the enjoyment of the guests: a larger dining table, additional glasses of different styles for a beer or G & T and half a toilet roll for a long weekend creates a bad impression. Easily remedied!

Wendy , has put so much into providing the perfect pet friendly converted barn. We enjoyed two wonderful weeks , and could have stayed for another. It rained most days , but it really didn’t matter, because if the dog got dirty, she had provided a place to hose them down , before allowing into the barn. The outside area was also very well fenced so no worries about our pet escaping. All of these things go such along way to making a holiday with a dog in tow, stressless.. The beds are six foot, which is what we are used to and wonderfully comfortable. A four foot six bed would have meant that we wouldn’t have booked, as we wouldn’t have slept properly for a whole fortnight! We really couldn’t fault anything. On arrival, Wendy had even cooked a cake for us, such a lovely welcoming act. Thankyou Wendy .

Light and airy and spacious cottage. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Everything required was provided in the cottage, the outside area was well kept with outside chairs and tables provided. Underfloor heating very effective. Very well appointed cottage, would not hesitate to return. Lovely area to explore - town was within easy reach.

Wonderful place to stay, spacious & relaxing well equipped With all essential for self catering, great size bedrooms & tranquil views, definitely recommend this cottage

Really nice place. Loved the showers, comfy beds & lounge seating, decent tv, well equipped kitchen. Didn't use the fire, the place warms up very easily on summer days. Helpful to have washing and drying facilities. There is an airer in the utility area if the weather is warm, no need to use tumble dryer. Minor watchouts... recycling rules may be different to what you're used to, read instructions carefully. We didn't get any dishwasher tablets but it seems this was an oversight... ask the proprietor if needed. Be aware it's pet friendly, we don't have a pet and so the other rental's yappy dog annoyed at times but that's not the fault of this property and we'd still consider coming back.

Excellent cottage in an excellent location. We even had fantastic weather so could make the most of our bikes in a lovely part of the world. We could also use the outside terrace for our meals every day. Superb.
