    We loved the set up and all furnishings and fittings were first class. The weather could have been kinder so we could have explored more but that is in the lap of the gods. Squeaky boards were the only downside.

    We had a lovely time for my father in laws 60s birthday a short break to get the whole family together. The lay out of the barn was excellent and the facilities the owners had left on offer including some welcome snacks. A few minor things the owners may want to consider is making sure enough large towels were left as we were two short. Also the floor especially in the kitchen area is extremely noisy for guests staying in the down stairs bedrooms. There were also no remote controls that we could find to turn the volume up on the TV. The cottage was clean enough but there was dust underneath the TV box, some of the bathrooms needed a reseal in the shower areas and the hairdryer cables needed a wipe down. On the whole though we had a brilliant time and would like to thank the owners for a very pleasent stay. Thank you x

    Overall the barn was very good apart from the plague of flies that hounded us all week. The adults and older grandchild enjoyed the table tennis and pool table but were disappointed that we could not find the code for the bike locks. Good use was made of the sauna and steam room. The barn was very spacious and well laid out but one bedroom was missing it’s curtain and another had a broken window catch. Also one of the curtains in the lounge was hanging off the wall. However none of this stopped us having a very good family holiday. A car is a must as the barn is very remote and the nearest supermarket is 12 miles away, but being remote made the holiday very relaxing.

    This holiday house had everything we needed for a very comfortable and cosy stay. It is situated in the countryside with lovely views all round and it is so peaceful and quiet.
