Possibly the nicest cottage we have ever rented and we have rented a lot over 40 odd years. It was lovely and spacious, excellent for a mixed generation family holiday which included a dog and a baby. The village itself was very nice, everyone very friendly, also very close to Stirling and many other attractions. Would love to return some time.

Lovely modernised cottage in a small village with a pub and shop. Very well equipped with a welcome pack. Centrally located for visits to Glasgow area and Edinburgh area. We did have a problem with the heating but it was quickly resolved.

This review is from myself & 4 sisters who spent a lovely relaxing weekend at Briar Cottage & we will definitely book it again. Well done to the owners of Briar cottage, it is definitely a home from home. The cottage is stunning, beautifully decorated & has everything you need from comfortable beds to cosy sitting areas & beautiful kitchen & dining area. It snowing when we were at the cottage and we didn’t feel cold once between the central heating & the log fire we were very cosy. We walked down to the local pub for a nice lunch also the village shop. Although we didn’t venture too far there are plenty attractions to visit within a short distance including Blairdrummond safari park.
