An absolutely great week away. We loved staying at Bridicott farm. The location is spot on; you feel away from it all when you’re in the cottage as there’s nothing else around, yet it’s only 10 minutes from Minehead and lots of other amazing places. The cottage itself is quaint, quiet and charming. We had a fire on one of the evenings and it included everything you’d need. It has its own garden, complete with a chicken named Chickileta. She loved eating our strawberry tops and our daughter adored her. The hosts are friendly and welcoming, whilst allowing plenty of space for you to enjoy the cottage (we only saw them once and spoke to them on the phone). This was ideal for us as it made it feel like the cottage was ‘ours’ for the week. They also rang us one we’d left as they found a water bottle seal that may have been ours; this was a nice touch as I’m sure lots of other places wouldn’t have bothered. We’d definitely revisit Bridicott Farm and would recommend it to anyone wanting to get away, without being too far away from the Somerset action.

Perfect location for both a countryside & coastal holiday. It was lovely waking up to the sound of cows in the morning. Our hosts were really friendly. We had a great relaxing time.

Myself and my two teenage children had a really memorable holiday in this wonderful cottage. To get away from the city is so important to us and Briddicott Farm was just perfect. Wonderful walks with great areas to explore. Lynton and Lynmouth is well worth a visit if only for the spectacular views along the way. At the end of the week our host, Andrew, very kindly took us out to explore the 2000 acres surrounding cottage which was just incredible and we learnt so much from him about the farm and area. We have stayed in many different cottages in many different locations over the years, but this most definitely our favourite!

Enjoyed our stay at Christmas at Briddcott farm. It was nice to see a Christmas tree and decorations even though your not at home made it special. The cottage doesn't have central heating but good electric heaters and a lovely log fire with as many logs as you need included. The beds were very comfortable. As said it is on a working farm but we were not disturbed by the animals, just a friendly sheep dog who just wanted its tummy rubbed, we were lucky to see the lambs just born. At this time of year there was a bit of mud but no different to going down a country lane in winter. So very happy with our stay

We loved staying in this quirky cottage which had everything we needed for a comfortable holiday. It was quite a cold week so it was great to get back to the cottage after a brisk walk on the moors and light the log burner and spend a cosy evening by the fire. Lovely view over the Bristol Channel from the garden which I imagine would be beautiful in the summer. Lots of birds in the garden so take some bird seed and enjoy watching them squabble over the food and don't forget to feed the friendly chicken in the garden. Dunster is worth a visit and the deer park is a lovely place to walk to from the cottage on a sunny day. I'm sure we will be back!

We had a most happy and restful time at Briddcott Farm and the final highlight came when Tracy took my wife and I on a 11/2 hour trip around the farm fields and heathland to see the Deer/ Horses/and Cattle. The experience was great and it showed us just how hard working both Andrew and Tracy are. We covered the area well and were very impressed with the area of north Somerset, especially Dunster Castle and the area surrounding.
