    Bedroom 1: With king size bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.

    Bedroom 3: With twin beds.
    Bedroom 4: With twin beds.

    Underwhelming, key areas were reasonably clean but other areas for example the stair carpet very grubby looking. It is in an excellent position but that is its key redeeming point. The kitchen was reasonably well equipped but items like broken glasses left in the cupboards. Generally the cottage looking shabby examples include front widows rotting, patches of past leaks or damp on walls and ceilings, fridge doors laminate flaking and bed light fittings not working and back room downstairs smelt strongly of damp. Cottage in our opinion overpriced. We reported problems with the shower and front door lock and they were promptly dealt with by some good maintenance staff.

    We love the house , bedrooms and bathrooms immaculate, kitchen was let down by lack of saucepans and lids , worn out frying pans and the dishwasher is next to useless with a broken bottom shelf, and a tumble dryer would be a bonus, this is why I marked it an 8 out of 10, but otherwise a lovely house and will definitely book again.

    Bridge Cottage is ideally located and well stocked. Although there is no outside parking there is a parking permit for the local car park which is really close by. A really convenient place to stay. We really loved it !

    Bridge house is a great self catering accommodation in Ambleside,no criticism at all.we will be back in the spring,we all had a great time.thank you.

    Living area was very dirty as were carpets throughout. Bedrooms were very good. Could do with a deep clean and def needs painting.

    Excellent accommodation right in the heart of Ambleside. Nicely furnished, very comfortable living space and plenty room for everyone to sit together at the dining table.Three bathrooms and a downstairs toilet make a big difference when a mixed age family are staying. It meant grandma could have her own en-suite! The only slight problem for me was a slight odour of dog when we entered the house every time. However, as this is a dog friendly house, I suppose it can be expected. A mop around the floor did help. But, loved this house and wouldn’t hesitate to book again.
