As expected from the photo it is an old cottage. Nevertheless it has been updated as much as can be. Our only problem was controlling the central heating. The thermostat didn't work so we had to turn it off manually when it got too hot. Lots of thoughtful unexpected extras were provided. Hair dryer, towels, toiletries, washing up liquid, toilet rolls etc. Good double glazing meant that we could hardly hear the traffic outside. The absolute best thing was the view from the garden. Really enjoyed sitting by the river, watching the swallows and other birds so close and the stone bridge is beautiful. Shame there is no parking but the car park over the bridge was never full and car was safe. Such a lovely, quaint, quiet little town but with all facilities - even a Post Office.

Lovely well equipped cottage in a fabulous location. The garden is lovely with the river at the bottom. Corbridge is a beautiful location with the friendliest people, great walks and pubs. Would definitely recommend and will be going back to this cottage.

Lovely little cosy cottage, nicely decorated in lovely building etc. Corbridge was very nice, lovely walks for our dog and most pubs were dog friendly. Only complaints were we didn’t realise that the cottage was straight onto a very busy road and we had no direct access to the garden for toilet trips for the dog as the other cottages do or access to the court yard. Other than that it was lovely and we would book with Bridge Cottages again definitely.

Fantastic cottage in a beautiful dog friendly village. Great walks for our dog and not too far from some of the prettiest beaches we’re been to. Will definitely recommend and would love to return.
