Great cottage - very warm. In a great location and comfortable beds and sofas.

The Coach House is a small but excellently located property in Corbridge. You can easily walk up into the Village to shop and eat. Corbridge is a beautiful village with great walks. The accommodation is compact and we stayed here as a family of 2 adults, a 14 year old and a Labrador. You enter straight into the lounge from the courtyard, which is open plan to the kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped. The stairs to the first floor are accessed straight up from the kitchen - we put on the stair gate to stop our dog going upstairs. Both bedrooms have coomb ceilings, which are quite severe, however the bedrooms are well equipped and comfortable. The shower room is large with a good shower. We stayed in Mid October and we did find the property hard to get warm and stay warm, even with the central heating and electric fire in the lounge. There is no radiator in the kitchen and personally I think one here would help to this end. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Very pleasant and comfortable little cottage. Clean and cosy. Lovely bed-linen and towels. Comfortable beds although the Double bed in the main bedroom is a little snug for two people. Kitchen knives could do with being upgraded and there are no decent vegetable dishes butter dish or milk jug. These are small issues which could easily be remedied. Would definitely stay again.
