Located near the village of Glynneath, the property is ideal for holiday makers wanting to get out into the open countryside and explore the area on foot or on bike. There are plenty of walks to be had in the area, with the Four Waterfalls located just over 3½ miles away. There is a canal just 500 yards from the property and is a nice walk. The Brecon Beacons, home to the largest mountain in South Wales, Pen y Fan, are approximately half an hour’s drive away, and the BikePark Wales in Merthyr Tydfil, renowned for its great mountain biking tracks, is 11 miles from the cottage. Afan bike track is 15 miles and Glynneath golf course is only a 10-minute drive away.
Dan yr Ogof Caves are 13 miles from the cottage, and are worth a visit. If you fancy a day at the beach then there are several to choose from with Aberavon beach 15 miles away, and Mumbles beach, in the town of Swansea, a 20-minute drive away.
