    Tired and quirky. Needs investment,

The cottage wasn't very clean, the floors were sticky and unwashed. The carpets were unclean and worn in parts. the bathrooms are a joke, the water supply does not allow for the use of both bathrooms at once. I went to the Keswick Office to complain about the central heating as the boiler was locked away and I couldn't over ride the time, an hour in the morning and of a night is not enough in October! I had to buy a jug and oven tray from Asda, the Keswick office did give me the money back. It simple isn't good enough to pay nearly £800 for a run down cottage. There was 6 of us and the living was so crowded that we all sat together just once! The most dangerous thing of all is the fact that this property is on a extremely dangerous corner, even going to the bins was a dangerous activity.

The house was fair, and big enough for my party (six adults and four children), although the children had to sit on the floor in the lounge. The bedrooms were reasonable, although the floor in the four poster room dipped alarmingly in the middle. There was no dishwasher, which is a bit unreasonable when catering for 10 people. There was no Wi-fi, which the children thought unreasonable, since there was access to super fast broadband in the location. The worst point was the water supply. The top floor bath was more or less unusable because of the low pressure. The pressure was not too bad in the lower bathroom, unless there was another tap on in the house, when it managed only a trickle. At best it took ages to run a bath - again not really acceptable with 10 people in the house. Also there was no usable outside space, which was a pity.
