The Old Stable is converted from an old bank barn and boasts characterful beams and thick stone walls. It offers views across the surrounding fields, and is only 2 miles to the village of Coniston. The terraced cottage is a two bedroom property consisting of a large double bedroom and a second bedroom with twin beds. A fully fitted kitchen/living/dining area gives guests the space to relax and unwind in front of the cosy electric wood burner before sitting down to a delicious meal in the evening. A 32” LED TV and DVD player with a selection of DVDs and books are provided.
The property is set 200 yards from the road along a private driveway, with parking for two cars and a shared outside area with garden furniture.
The Old Stable is situated ½ mile from the centre of Torver which has a superb selection of pubs and eateries. There are plenty of walks from the door, and a walk up the ’Old Man’ is possible without having to go on the road. Coniston Lake is only 2 miles away which offers superb walks, sailing and outdoor activities. Beach 15¾ miles. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
