We had a really great relaxing long weekend at Bron View, The cottage has everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and in a great location to explore Snowdonia National Park. The welcome pack was a lovely touch as was the coal and logs for the open fire, I would recommend Bron View.

We struggled with things like the bathroom being downstairs, not much worktop space in the kitchen, and too much tat in the house. But it was clean and comfortable and we had a good holiday. The town doesn't have much going for it but there are some good walks around and the steam train ride has amazing views.

A wonderful cottage and very homely. A welcome hamper was left on our arrival which we were very grateful for and a lovely surprise. The cottage is lovely and clean and views out of the front of the cottage is wonderful. The local village has a couple of pubs, co op and an range of takeaways - throughly recommend the local fish and chip shop. There is a large Tesco in Porthmadog which has a petrol station. This is a great place to base to explore the area. We had a great time at the slate mine nearby. This cottage is dog friendly but dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture but our dog loved the lovely walks we went on when we went out for the day
