The most beautiful place. I love this house, beautifully equipped and comfortable. This is the second time I have stayed here and I can honestly say I would book again. The views are stunning and this is a quiet peaceful spot with only the sound of the river for company. The owners very thoughtfully provide everything you could need including a small welcome pack of essentials. My home away from home.

We had a lovely few days staying here. The kitchen, and living areas were fab as was the view from the windows. Unfortunately when we got there it was dark. The turning into the property goes uphill and is on a tight bend. As there was no light we caught our van on the turn causing damage to the van. We then took a little while to find the key box as it was black and not in a usual place. The garden is not really accessible with a high drop onto the road so thank goodness we did not have children with us. Upstairs was furnished lovely but there was a damp musty smell. The area is close to beddgelert with lovely walks along the riverside.

What can I say !!! The perfect place to spend Christmas !!! The cottage has so much room while still feeling cosy and warm . We had the best time ever and would certainly recommend . We were a bit worried that being away over Christmas may mean that we wouldn’t have decorations etc but it was perfect 👌 We will definitely be rebooking

We enjoyed another Wonderful Holiday at Bron Yr Aur nestling in the Aberglaslyn Pass. A Sanctuary for Relaxation and to feel 'at one' with Nature. The Cottage is convenient for Beddgelert Village (scenic river walk or by car) and scenic drives to nearby Porthmadog and Criccieth. Borth-y-Gest is another hidden gem with footpaths connecting to Black Rock Sands for the more adventurous and dog walkers. Many Thanks for a Restful and Peaceful Holiday. We definitely plan to return.

The cottage was really lovely and great for a weekend away. There was a lovely walk along the river to Beddgelert, there were lots of amenities a 10 minute drive away, and lots to do including visiting Portmerion, the beach and surrounding areas. The only recommendations I would have are providing a bit more toilet roll, we had 1 roll between 6 for the whole weekend, on arriving after a full day of travelling we didn’t want to have to leave the cottage to go out again as we were quite settled. This was a small thing but would have made a difference. We were also advised that we could use the coal to light a fire, however, no kindling or fire lighters were provided. The area had seen a full week of rain so it wasn’t possible to forage this, again a bit disappointing as every cottage I have stayed in at least provided 1 basket of kindling and wood to burn. The hill on entry to the property is very steep and curved, this is just worth noting as if you have a car full of people and food etc. This can be difficult to get up. Overall though the cottage itself was lovely and cosy and perfect for a weekend away, i would just recommend making the above very small changes to allow guests to fully enjoy/relax at the property which should hopefully be very small changes to make. Thanks again!

Great cottage of character, some lovely details and a super location but, sadly we had quite a few problems, that took to long to fix/rectify. Not a relaxing holiday we’d hoped for. Spending without the use of basic items due them being broken didn’t make for a good holiday at all, wish we’d stayed at home....the continual rain didn’t help. Broken bath plug, washing machine broke (with our clothes inside, 4 days to fix and return clothes), alarm continually beeping...only to be reached (removed & silenced) by precariously balancing on stair banister, no initial fuel and musty smell throughout. Beware also garden not contained, dogs need to be on leads.

We went Monday to Friday The kitchen was beautifully equipped, but when we got there there was a musty smell, the cleaners hadn’t been in and the smoke alarm was beeping all week!!! The housekeeping company came at 7pm on the night (Helen was lovely!!!) Apparently the owner asked someone to come and fix the smoke alarm, he didn’t turn up till Thursday!!! What good is that! I. In the end the owner stopped answering us when we tried to call. Very disappointing overall

This cottage is in an amazing location for local walks, access to the wider Snowdonia national park to the North and Porthamdog and beaches to the South. Had are really great holiday here and family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Interior of cottage could do with a bit of refresh, a few bits of maintenance and a bit of attention to detail with cleaning though.

Me and my friends had a lovely time in the cottage. Very swanky for us poor poor students so it was much appreciated. Would definitely recommend and love to come back soon!
