This is one of the most attractive valleys in the UK. As part of the 2500-acre Crogen Estate there are plenty of activities to be enjoyed such as walking and sightseeing with fishing and tennis by arrangement and for the more adventurous paint balling and high ropes. Golf can be found locally. Within 1½ miles there is an outstanding restaurant pub and village shop. Bala Lake is only a short drive away and the sandy beaches of west Wales’ coastline are approximately 45 minute drive.     Beautiful remote cottage on the edge of Snowdonia. Ideal for couples looking for a romantic break with no neighbors close by and a huge comfy bed for lounging in. The cottage backs on to a large forest which will appeal to dog walkers. Dog friendly pub about a mile and a half through the woods or cross fields into the village. Make sure you bring supplies with you as miles from the nearest big supermarket although apparently you can get deliveries and there is a big Co-Op in Bala. Heating not a problem and there is a fire with plenty of wood to keep you warm. Would be more than happy to come back and stay here again.

    A beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Huge, very comfy bed and great wood burner. Llandrillo a pleasant walk across fields for shop and pubs (20 minutes). Bala for everything else ( including recycling depot ). Sarah (the owner) always available for any local advice/problems). Highly recommended. Al and Family. October 2019

    We dont really want to tell anyone else how lovely this cottage is as we want to keep it for ourselves!!!! If its peace, comfort, views and value you are looking for, this is the place. We loved it so much,we came home and booked it again. Thank you Sarah for sharing your beautiful cottage with us.
