    (1) Welcome pack was very generous indeed. (2) Christmas decorations was hugely appreciated, as I brought a van load of stuff for Christmas, so a little help was great! (3) Standard of the house was very good indeed. Thick white cotton duvets are still fresh in my mind. (4) Owner actually rang to say it was ready and that she'd bought another turkey tin just in case. That was nice. (5) I liked the 'green' effort at the house. That's the first holiday cottage that's done that. I recycle everything and I find it frustrating that rental houses don't do it. (6) The extent of the kitchen equipment was great. (7) Real fire (8) Wifi, which is essential for kids nowadays... particularly away from home. (9) Location to all beaches was great. (10) Welcome book was useful.
Absolutely no bad points at all. To improve the stay, I suggested more plug points as phones constantly need charging. A double plug by the TV and one in the main bedroom. Couple of other things too left with the house.

Very cosy and well furnished cottage with impressive views over the salt marshes. The cottage was impeccably clean and environmentally friendly.

The cottage is perfectly located with gorgeous views for visitors wanting to explore this side of the Gower. The cottage feels like 'Home to Home' with its excellent facilities, stunning high quality décor and furnishings. Upon arrival we received an array of 'Goodies' which were so thoughtful and welcoming. We would not be able to think of anything negative about this cottage and would certainly not hesitate in booking again. The owners are on hand for any problems or questions and there is a folder with clear instructions on the use of any of the facilities. We are a family of four, which includes our 10 year old boy/girl twins. We also on this occasion took our 4 year old black Labrador and her 4 month old golden Labrador with us. Absolutely perfect week away from our busy lives and even the weather was kind to us, bearing in mind we went during our October half term. Thank you.

We fully enjoyed the cottage, very nicely decorated & spacious (to us anyway). Cosy in the evening with a nice real fire. Amazing value and views, really great places near by to eat out. Please note, it’s on a very steep hill which can be slippery when wet. Very local for the Gower Bays which are a must.

I had a lovely week with my friend and our 2 dogs in September. It’s newly, tastefully refurbished and is fully equipped. Array of local produce was appreciated, especially the Welsh cakes. Spectacular views of the estuary. The local town has everything you need and it’s convenient for exploring the Gower. The owners were very helpful and kind during and after our stay. They are currently storing the belongings I left behind! I will go again.

I was extremely dissapointed to find how incredibly steep all the roads and paths for walking were so steep and very dangerous after all the rain. I came home early because of the pain I was in due to very strained leg and back pain. There was no mention of how steep the terrain is in the description of the cottage if so I would not have booked. Also the fact that there was no exercise area for my dog as there was no area out the back and a notice saying not to exercise dogs in the front. This proved to be very difficult having to get dressed in order to take him down the (very) steep hill. Also the noise transferance from next door was awful you could hear every thing that was being done in the renovation work that was being done, drilling ,brrushing down the staire and the washing machine being turned on at 6.00am !! Not what one would expect from a holiday cottage. The cottage was very well presented I must admit as obviously it was all very new.

The Property was cosy and the location was good. It's a bit of a steep hill up to the cottage, as you would expect from a Welsh countryside/coastal location. The facilities were perfect and we enjoyed local walks and easy access to Gower landmarks. I would stay here again.
