Location was very good, apart from parking and street noice (no double-glazing !!!). Cottage could have been cleaner, also no cleaning cloth or sponge available in cottage). But overall very good. Would come again if cottage has double-glazing and faster internet.

Fab little cottage comfortable, in a great location for days out or a walk around the town there is a lack of wardrobe space but then again we was there for a long weekend so didn’t need that space overall the cottage is lovely nice and clean I would definitely stay again ?

We used Buddy's Cottage as a base to explore the local area. The cottage was clean, comfortable and was supplied with all the essentials required.

A lovely clean cottage set right in the very heart of Kendal. A great centre for exploring the town and the surrounding countryside. Clean and tidy; but it is the little things that make a difference. First and most important was arriving at four in the afternoon on a bitterly cold January (in the minus!) to find a lovely warm and inviting cottage. Yes the heating had been turned on in advance. That's not happened to me before and I've had regular winter breaks over the years. Makes such a difference. Also in addition to the teas and coffees there was also a bottle of wine. Great after a long drive and before venturing out into the cold! Finally there were a few doggy blankets available as well; just to make our dog feel welcome as well!

A brilliant location for leaving the car and being close to everything but not so brilliant for noise! Very loud at pub closing time and a lot of traffic noise which is completely out of the owners control but was a bit of a problem for us as we were travelling with a two year old and his sleep was very disturbed. Cottage itself is lovely and pristine, nice touches like washing up liquid, tea, coffee and mint cake! Very well stocked kitchen cupboards with plenty of cooking utensils and crockery ( minor issue but they are so well stocked that there is no room to put any food in them!). Beds comfy and clean, bathroom the same. Utility room is really useful also. Would stay again if it wasn’t for the noise.
