Burgess House is a beautiful house that has been decorated to a very high standard & is obviously well looked after & loved. It has ample space, gorgeous rooms, wonderful grounds & a lovely hot tub. Our party was a group of 9 and we had a wonderful time there - the whole house was absolutely spotless with plenty of room for everyone to chill & relax. Fortunately we had beautiful weather, so we made ample use of the hot tub & the outdoor areas to relax in. There is plenty of seating outside & in for everyone - the sheep & horses in the fields plus the herons on the lake were an added bonus! Bridget was a delight to deal with - very good communication & we really appreciated being left milk, bread & a very yummy lemon drizzle cake! We also ate at the local pub in Caston which I would highly recommend - we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday roast dinner there. The whole weekend was perfect - all of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Burgess House & would highly recommend it if you are looking for beautiful, well-kept & luxurious accommodation.

Gorgeous house, garden and grounds. Perfect for families. Outdoor seating area with hot tub was really stunning and, with the pond and walk around the lake and the woods which are part of the grounds, was lovely. The house was beautiful, really clean and everything we could possibly need was provided. Kitchen was really well equipped. Highly recommend. The only downside was the wi-fi didn’t work at all.

Very clean and well equipped cottage with attentive owner. Quiet village location but just what our party was seeking. Our children loved the main garden for playing games, the wood for building dens, hot tub and feeding the horses. A very comfortable and relaxing week. Will return again.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Burgess House and it was our best holiday yet! We go away every year as a group of twelve (three families of six adults and six children) and we all had an amazing time. The owners were so lovely and welcoming and the house exceeded expectations. The boys would have spent the week fishing if we hadn’t of dragged them away for a couple of days out. How lovely to see them outdoors away from tablets and xboxes! The girls enjoyed the hot tub and we all enjoyed our morning walks around the grounds. We have no complaints at all and would definitely return for another holiday!

Thank you for an amazing time at Burgess House. Cannot recommend it enough. Came for a weekend away for my birthday with family and friends & we all had the best time. The house is absolutely gorgeous in the most beautiful setting, the garden is huge! Owner could not have been more helpful and we were greeted with a lovely welcome with a home baked cake, milk and local Apple juice. Thank you for such a wonderful weekend, will definitely be coming back.

Burgess house was the perfect location for seeing in 2019. It had an abundance of space and was beautifully presented throughout. We loved that it was nestled away at the end of a long private driveway, giving it a secluded/ remote feeling despite being close enough to local amenities such as the pub! Our host, Bridget, was friendly and accommodating, providing a seamless 5* experience. I'd highly recommend to family/ friends and would choose to stay again in a heartbeat.
