    Burnside View provides holiday accommodation to a superior standard. Forming part of a large converted Victorian building, just moments walk from the centre of Hawes, the apartment has been furnished and decorated to an excellent standard offering a truly luxurious base from which to start your holiday. Each of the rooms has high ceilings and large sash windows which let in an abundance of light. The large living room is south facing with modern furniture and decor, with a bright, airy and spacious feel and lovely views of the surrounding Dales countryside. Each of the charming bedrooms has a king size bed and delightful views of the countryside.  Wireless broadband has also been thoughtfully installed by the owners for those of you wishing to stay connected during your stay.
    Burnside View has two separate bedrooms and is at first floor level accessed by a large entrance hall with room to store boots and coats.Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

    Generally lovely but had a big problem with the front door lock from the start - unable to lock it. Sofas okay for comfort but not great, as indeed are most sofas - not ergonomic. Bed similarly not the most comfortable but looked lovely. A nice location and with the triple glazing not too much interference from the traffic noise.

    Ideally situated, close to all amenities, with plenty of walks for all levels. The second floor accommodation, is of a very good standard, with only somewhere to dry clothes missing (no outside area or drier although there is a clothes airer). Plenty of cleaning products supplied including dishwasher tablets, soap powder etc. which I haven't found in previous rental cottages. Great views from the living room and rear bedroom, overall this cottage would take some beating, enjoyed the stay.

    We visited in April this year, the 8 rating is for the uncomfortable sofas, and it was a cold building. We did our best to warm it up. Every thing else warranted the 10 rating.

    Lovely property in good position for walking into town and for touring. Clean, comfortable, well presented and with everything you could possibly need - plus there are stunning views from the windows.

    Great apartment let for 3-4 people, short walking distance to all the facilities of Hawes (pubs, chippy, walking shops, food shops - all of which are good). Attractive apartment, well set out and comfortable. Makes a great base for walking - Pennine Way passes within 100m. Only small concern - it is on the main road through Wensleydale, which was fine when we were there at the end of Oct, but could be noisy in the summer when you would want the windows open and there would be more traffic on the road.

    Absolutely perfect. Home from home plus!! Lovely, bright and airy. Could have catered for party, enough kitchen equipment!! Few minutes stroll down the road to lovely baker and restaurants. Cannot think of anything to improve it.

    Ideally placed for walking and exploring the Hawes area. Size of the property is good and wonderful views. Overall, was pleased with the property but there were a few things that let it down. Unfortunately, the sofas aren’t very comfortable, which isn’t ideal when coming in from walks. The beds are comfy, but just as a warning they are very squeaky and you can hear every time someone moves. The lighting system is interesting and you are given the very useful instructions “just work it out”... The cleanliness was alright, but finding a toenail on the coffee table was, to say the least, a bit grim. The kitchens and the bedrooms are wonderful and the bathroom is also good. They have a nice entrance hall where you can leave all of your muddy shoes and coats. I would happily stay there again if they would replace the sofas and clean just a bit more throughly.
