We arrived Thursday night greeted by the owner. She showed us everything we needed to know. The cabin was fully equipped. Things like towels, shower gel, hand wash, everything you would need in the kitchen. Even teas coffee sugar oil pepper and salt. The cabin is clean and fresh the location isnt that great but was private and secluded. We had a pleasant stay. Thanks once again.

Fabulous stay, so cosy and welcoming. Mini break weekend of Storm Ciara, expected power cuts, and some trees down. Leigh was so accommodating and helpful. Everything provided. A wonderful place to stay. Our little dog 🐶 loved the woodland. Saw Munjac which was special. Would highly recommend. Helena & Peter, Berkshire

Great rustic feel log cabin but yet has all the amenities to make a stay enjoyable and comfortable. Leigh was very accommodating and the communication was excellent. A delightful stay in tranquil surroundings. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Just the wildlife for company so this tranquil setting is ideal for a ' get away from it all' break. The lodge was warm, comfortable and of a pleasing design. A great welcome from the owners who made sure we had mobile contact numbers should we have any problems or reasons to call...we didn't need them but it was a thoughtful fall-back. Highly recommended on our experience.

Burnside lodge is beautiful. So warm and cozy and the beds are wonderful. Loved watching the small birds feeding at the bird table and the cheeky very agile squirrels who also enjoyed the feast. Deer wandered through the wood and we saw a Fox in the distance. Anyone who loves nature and the peace and quiet will have a holiday to remember.

Everything that you need in the lodge and a great place to relax. Saw Muntjac deer, rabbits, squirrels and various birds around the lodge. Hope to go again next year.

A lovely place to stay if you like peace and quiet and nature. The nearest town, Diss, is really nice with a beautiful park and mere right in the centre. Ickworth National Trust property is within easy reach. Plenty of places around the cottage to dog walk and very little traffic anywhere. We received a warm welcome from the owner and the cottage had everything we needed.
