Burrows Cottage, originally part of a 17th century farmhouse, is now a semi detached cottage offering spacious holiday accommodation with an abundance of character and has the benefit of its own small private enclosed courtyard which catches the afternoon sun. Just a short stroll from the hub of the village, which has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, antique and curio shops and tea rooms. Keen birdwatchers, walkers and naturalists will find plenty to explore in the area, and the famous Tarka Trail passes yards from your doorstep - a perfect way to take in the scenery via the Taw and Torridge estuaries either on foot or bicycle. Nearby NT Arlington Court, Marwood Gardens, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal works, Brannams Pottery and Exmoor National Park are all within easy driving distance. Fishing, sailing, golf and horse riding, plus surf board, windsurf, wetsuit and bicycle hire are all available locally. Shops and pubs 200 yards.

Lovely cottage, brilliantly equipped. Would highly recommend the village is nice, some great restraints and ideally situated for touring around.
We had a lovely time at the cottage, location is great, lots of walks/beaches nearby but with the town providing pubs/shops on your doorstep. Probably the best equipped cottage we have ever rented. Definitely recommend.

Absolutely wonderful stay, can't fault anything at the cottage. Wouldn't mind living there full time! Everyone loved the local fish & chip shop (Squires) and the Co-op 2 minutes from the door made life so easy, along with the cheap parking round back. Thanks so much to the owners for keeping such a lovely cottage where lovely memories were made for my best friend's wedding. Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks again.
