Bus stop cottage is well located for seeing the sights of the Yorkshire dales, the cottage was clean , the beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was the best equipped out of all the cottages I've stayed in. We had a very enjoyable week and would visit again.

Very comfortable cottage in quiet, peaceful location. We really enjoyed being in such a homely environment. Everything we could ask for was there and all of very good quality. Things we wish we had known: 1.The third room with single bed is a 'bothy' - a separate outdoor building. 2.Arriving with enough food and milk for the week is a good idea as it's a long way to the nearest shop down some beautiful but tricky narrow roads. 3. Very difficult to recycle, this is the only village in the dales they don't collect recycling from. We saved ours up and in the end took it to Northallerton tip where you need to separate it all out rather than put it into mixed recycling.
