Butterfly Barn has three bedrooms, with the master bedroom and en suite being on the ground floor, allowing guests with restricted mobility to stay with ease. On the first floor there is a galleried landing leading to a twin bedroom and single bedroom both with far reaching countryside views, and a family bathroom.
This chic barn is located in Upper Gresham which along with Lower Gresham are Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The barn is ideal for couples, families and friends, and anyone who is looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. With its ideal location, Butterfly Barn allows you access to the lovely villages and coastal towns of North Norfolk.
Why not visit the traditional seaside town of Sheringham? Sample the famous crabs in Cromer, and jump on the North Norfolk Railway where you can catch a ride to nearby Holt, a pretty Georgian town, home to art galleries, antique and book shops. Holt Country Park is a popular place to visit with picnic areas, nature trails and an adventure playground.
National Trust lovers will be spoilt for choice with Felbrigg Hall, Sheringham Park and Blickling Hall all close by. Nature lovers will enjoy the wildlife reserves at Cley, Blakeney and Scolt Head, and children can enjoy the traditional seaside towns including Cromer pier with the Pavilion Theatre, home to the UK’s only remaining traditional end of pier variety show.
And bring the family dog to join in the fun. Butterfly Barn accepts two well behaved dogs but the garden is not enclosed and there is access to the owner’s adjoining garden, so guests will need to keep dogs on lead outside of the barn. There is also an uncovered pond in the owner’s garden so children need to be supervised at all times.
