A fantastic peaceful & rural retreat to get away from it all and re-charge ones batteries. The house & facilities were lovely, excellent views & easy access to so many lovely walking areas. Would love to go back.

No welcome on arrival was for us coming from abroad, not hospitable. in a foreign country resp. cottage you have to find your way. A friendly welcome from the owner living at 50 (!) meters away, would be very helpful. This cottage has no cellphone reception, no internet, no wifi, and the television reception gives unregularly problems. Here at Bwthyn LLwynog you'll come for the beautiful views, the quiet surroundings and the quality of the cottage. And that's worth while to go to Croesor !

We had a lovely long weekend in this cottage in March 2019. It is very attractive and well appointed and it has marvellous views from the windows. It is, though, remote and so visitors need to be prepared for a two-mile drive along a narrow lane (with occasional passing places) and for virtually no local amenities.

We had such a wonderful time. The cottage is surrounded with mountains and trails to walk... we barely scratched the surface and will be back for more exploring.

Stunning location for exploring some of the more remote and special areas of Snowdonia, especially on foot. The thought, care and quality of design throughout the cottage is notable. Brilliant.

Excellent holiday in a beautiful. well designed cottage. Couldn't fault anything. We sought a peaceful holiday 'away from it all' with plenty of walking - and this is what we got. Total peace and quiet and could walk for miles without having to take the car. Beautiful scenery in every direction. There are no shops nearby but this did not matter to us. There are plenty of places of interest to visit.
