The cottage is lovely and cosy and is great if you want to get away from it all. It is in a very quiet place with lovely views. There were loads of maps and leaflets for local activities however I would have liked an information book written by the owners which gave suggestions on local walks and pubs/restaurants and takeaways. Especially as we didn’t see the owners during our stay. On recent self catering holidays we have been left with a small welcome basket with some local produce and I would have liked something like this in the cottage. The local pub is more than a mile away, but does good food and is welcoming. We enjoyed our stay.

A lovely cottage with superb views, beautifully furnished and equipped, but nervous drivers beware of the single track road with passing places up to the cottage.

This cottage is excellent, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and well equipped. It’s surrounded by spectacular scenery with breathtaking views. The owners are friendly and very helpful. We only had a week and wished we’d booked two. If you like to get away from the usual and be in the heart of nature, then this is for you.

No welcome on arrival was for us coming from abroad, not hospitable. in a foreign country resp. cottage you have to find your way. A friendly welcome from the owner living at 50 (!) meters away, would be very helpful. This cottage has no cellphone reception, no internet, no wifi, and the television reception gives unregularly problems. Here at Bwthyn LLwynog you'll come for the beautiful views, the quiet surroundings and the quality of the cottage. And that's worth while to go to Croesor !

We had a lovely long weekend in this cottage in March 2019. It is very attractive and well appointed and it has marvellous views from the windows. It is, though, remote and so visitors need to be prepared for a two-mile drive along a narrow lane (with occasional passing places) and for virtually no local amenities.

We had such a wonderful time. The cottage is surrounded with mountains and trails to walk... we barely scratched the surface and will be back for more exploring.
