Hoseasons "Situated in a lovely village location this terraced cottage is ideally situated with attractions close by. A real romantic gem\n\nThis delightful terraced holiday cottage is situated opposite the village church in Llanfair Talhaiarn. There are two pubs in the village and a beautiful picnic spot where the River Elwy meanders under an old stone bridge. The banks are always crowded on sunny days in summer and the river is full of splashing children. The cottage itself has been restored in keeping with its age. It has a lovely slate floor and the lounge features an open fire. The cosy dining room has views of the lawned garden whilst upstairs the bedroom features beautiful oak furniture. There are plenty of walks in the area and it’s just five miles to the sandy beaches of the North Wales coastline. A short drive brings you to the Conwy Valley and Betws-y-Coed the gateway to Snowdonia. Here you will find forest walks and a high ropes course – not for the faint hearted Historic Conwy and the Victorian resort of Llandudno are also within easy reach and have plenty of attractions and things to do.\n" https://img.chooseacottage.co.uk/Property/897/840/897869.jpg CC613035

Lovely cottage in very peaceful location, well equipped for a comfortable stay. Gorgeous garden with lots of birds to watch while eating breakfast. My only complaint would be that the duvet, 10.5 tog was rather too hot for the summer months!

This was a comfy, cosy cottage in a lovely friendly village. The neighbours were so helpful, putting out the recycling bins on the correct day and getting the TV to work for us ( the handset just needed new batteries.) Everything about the cottage was perfect, well equipped kitchen, warm cosy bathroom with big fluffy towels, a charming comfortable lounge with a real coal fire and instructions on how to make one for those youngsters who have grown up with central heating. The bedroom was spacious and such a comfortable bed I slept better than at home. I would heartily recommend this cottage to family and friends it is in a great location for enjoying North Wales. Great pubs and a good little shop in the village.

This was our first visit to N.Wales and although the weather wasn't that great we still enjoyed our time there with so much to see. The cottage was outstanding. Everything you could possibly hope for and so cosy.Loved the coal fire.

Perfect for two and a good base if you want to go exploring. The cottage has been renovated recently, and done so really well...could do with more hanging facilities for clothes in the bedroom, that would be the only thing I would improve. A lovely welcome pack of welsh cakes, tea, wine and milk was left for us, this was a lovely touch (although the previous guests’ recycling was also left in the kitchen bins for us too). The Black Lion pub is a 2 minute walk away and this served lovely food and had great service. I would recommend staying at the cottage, but have said we wouldn’t stay again as we have now visited the places we wanted to using this as a base.

The cottage is in a really peaceful setting but close enough to the local shop & village pubs. It is really comfortable & cosy with a lovely garden. I would definitely recommend it to friends & family.
