Lovely cottage with very welcoming and helpful owners. Located in a scenic rural area. The cottage is outside the local town and a mile by car - not easily walkable, no immediately accessible footpaths.

Beautiful looking cottage in a great location but sadly wasn't very clean and the bed was horrendous. Could not use the wardrobe as it was filled with spiders/webs and mould. Old food was left in freezers, poo on toliet brush and while in the bath a flee jumped in the water which is very disgusting. Me and my husband had to sleep with bug replent on us just so we wouldn't get bitten. Extremely disappointed with the hot tub as it took 3+ hours to heat up also no temperature system in place so you could very easy make it to hot a burn yourself. Overall it was in a beautiful place but would not return to this cottage.

My second stay in 2 months. A lovely cottage in a gorgeous part of Wales. Owners live nearby and are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble, a lovely couple. The wood-burning hot tub takes a bit to get used to, a relaxing end to your day, I would recommend this cottage to all of my family and friends.

We had a great time. Took our puppy for his first, he loved it. Lots of walks and enjoyed the sheep coming near the garden to say hello. The place was clean and really cosy. Louisa and Melvion were really lovely too and helpful. Would deffenetly recommend.

What a cracking cottage!! Enjoyed our stay very much so, well equipped cottage & private grounds. The couple that own the cottage were first class and so accommodating (the cake upon arrival & wine) was a lovely touch. We have stayed in many cottages over the last few years and this is far the best we've stayed in. The hot tub is a cool touch (even in the pouring rain) 10 out of 10 for sure.....will definitely book again.

Wow! This place was amazing! Such a great, private location with the local town just 5 minutes down the road that has pubs and shops. Welshpool town is about 15/20 mins away and has lots f nice restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend The Raven inn for food!! The cottage was so clean and cozy, once we got the log fires going it was such a warm and toasty little place to be. The hot tub was amazing - drinking wine under the stars was just fab. The bed was comfy too and so lovely to wake up to the nature of singing birds and the bleating sheep. The owners are so friendly and can’t do enough for you, the homemade welcome cake was just the icing on the... well... cake! We will definitely be back Thankyou so much. Sammi & Chris xx

We have just had our stay start of January for a week. Was just the break we needed. Location is perfect for total relaxation. The cottage owners were so welcoming and nothing was too much help. The hot tub was amazing. You would be foolish not to book if you want hottub, relaxation, beautiful surroundings and nature in such a beautiful cottage. Thanks so much

Thank you so much to melvinon and Louisa who are fantastic. The cottage is amazing and full of everything you need. We even had a lemon drizzle cake waiting for us when we got there. The hot tub was absolutely amazing, aslong as you keep topping it up with logs it stays hot for hours. We loved cuddling on the sofa in front of the log fire too at night. The bed is so comfortable also. It just has everything the take the stress away and the character is unbelievable. This cottage has a special place on our hearts now and we will definitely return.
