We had a great stay in Cairnie Cottage. Perfect location for long walks and local shopping and eating out. The enclosed patio area is super! The cottage is well equipped and living spaces worked very well for us, bathrooms were spacious and airy, we loved the heated towel rails too. Our only wishes would be for comfier beds and pillows as all were pretty hard ( firm). Also the option of a tumble drier as when it rained the laundry had to hang on the rack in the living area. Would definitely recommend Cairnie Cottage to friends and family.

Fantastic cottage, immaculate, well equipped and comfortable. Bliss to come back to after a day up the hills! In the centre of the village but still very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend.

Very nice holiday home - excellent location - well furnished with great quality beds and bedding. Heating is out of your control which can be a hit and miss to personal comfort but that is a very minor observation in an otherwise superb luxurious cottage! Oh and the private patio is a terrific sun trap! We had a wonderful holiday in Ballater - excellent walks on the doorstep - we hired bikes from cycle highlands which were excellent! Highly recommend this holiday home and destination.
