The cottage is very traditional and in need of some refurbishment. The upstairs is fine. Nice bedrooms, clean bedding and a fair bit of storage. The living room is lovely and cosy, especially with the wood burner on! There is a smell of damp though. We had to open the windows everytime we came home. The kitchen needs an update. It's functional but tired. Some pot, cups and cheese grater had food on so we ended up washing quite a bit before we used them. I hope this doesn't sound to picky because we had a great week. The village was really quiet. I mean, we saw about 3 people all week. The locdl shop is one minute away and sell all you need. If there is a pub we never found it. Its 5 minutes from the beach and more importantly for me Yr Eifl was straight out of the door. I'm a fell runner and having this mountain on my door step was amazing. Trefor is a really good base to explore the Lynn Peninsula, everything is no more than 30 minutes drive. Would I stay again. Yes, but I'd like to see the kitchen and living room given a bit of TLC first.
