Stunning cottage, beautiful location. Some dog friendly cottages leave a lot to be desired, but this one is outstanding. The owners have put a lot of thought into what makes a perfect holiday cottage and it is just perfect. Can't wait to go back!!!!

Absolutely loved this holiday. The cottage is immaculate the best we have stayed in. You don't need to worry about anything as you have it all and more. We loved the solo powered lights in the garden and the the sun house. The photos really don't do it justice. I had the pleasure of speaking to the owner of the cottage a couple of times she is such a lovely lady she went above and beyond to make sure our stay was an excellent one. Lovely to receive the Easter card, our boys loved the Easter eggs and our little dog got treats too, these were all there on arrival such a nice touch. Also the area is stunning love the lakes and this cottage would definitely return again !!!

A comfortable and well designed cottage. There are beautiful views of Coniston Water and the Lake District Fells, which can be seen on the Cumbria Way which runs through the hamlet.

We spent a wonderful 4 nights at the cottage. It was equipped with everything we could have needed and finished to such a high standard. Loved the huge en suite and the enclosed garden for our dogs. It is tucked back from the road so read the instructions on how to find it for when you arrive. It was the best cottage I’ve stayed in we loved it and were lucky to have glorious weather the whole week.

We had a lovely time in this amazing cottage, furnished and decorated to the highest standard. Fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, by far the best cottage we have stayed in. A thoughtful gesture in the Valentines gift left for us. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and would love to revisit.

Carr bank Cottage is a really beautiful place to stay. What seems like a tiny Lakeland Cottage from the outside opens up into spacious, comfortable and cosy accommodation. The decor is lovely and the fixtures, fittings and equipment are great quality. We stayed over the festive period; the Christmas decorations were absolutely charming and made our stay so special. There's lots of good walking straight out of the door, and you are within easy reach of Ulverston where there are specialist shops with local products as well as the good supermarket. We would l love to come back.

A fantastic cottage - exceptionally equipped and the owners have paid so much attention to detail. We loved it. Downside could be that you have to get in the car for groceries but we wanted a remote place and that’s what we got. A tiny hamlet with friendly neighbours. A perfect get away with our dogs.
