The 600-hectare Ghirardi Natural Reserve is located in the Apennine Mountains at the crossroad between Tuscany, Liguria and Emilia Romagna, and is part of the Borgo Val di Taro and Albareto Counties. With woodland and meadows its beautiful landscape is quiet, with clean air, and there are walks within the reserve and in the surrounding mountains. For culture lovers many of the historic cities such as Genoa, Parma and La Spezia area easily reached.
