Close to sandy beaches with the fishing town of Eyemouth just 3 miles away. There are wide views of the sea and coast with moorland walking direct from the house.     The cottage makes a good base for exploring the the East Coast of the Borders region. Very good for wildlife we saw deer and rabbits from the cottage as well as numerous bird species, recommend a trip to StAbbs Head to see the nesting sea birds. The interior of the cottage is a bit dated the lounge and dining rooms could do with a refresh, the bathroom and kitchen are new and comfortable as are the beds and a couple of garden chairs would be useful. The setting is very quiet and dark at night the sound of the A1 is not intrusive.

    lovely cottage we really enjoyed it. Only thing was that it would have been nice to have had the heating on for a while before we got there it was really cold in the cottage for a day or so other than that it was great

    +Cottage has a brilliant location and was spotless - Extremely dated inside No welcome pack, not even a pint of milk Garden tho large is not secure in any way for dogs No towels supplied(may missed this when booking but have never stayed anywhere without towels being supplied)

    Lovely, well equipped cottage. Clean and cozy. Quiet location yet close to A1 and just a 5-10 minute drive to shops. Stunning views and great location for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders.
