Tucked away in a quiet location, Causeway Cottage is a delightful, detached, single storey cottage located near to the town of Kinross and Loch Leven the largest loch in the Scottish Lowlands. The sunny south facing garden with a private hot tub and barbecue hut overlooks farmland, perfect for al fresco dining and relaxing. The accommodation is beautifully presented, with a spacious and bright open plan living area with large comfortable sofas and a wood burner, just the spot for everyone to relax. There is a large dining area with patio doors leading to the garden and the table is large enough for everyone to sit together for a celebration dinner. If you’re planning to practice your cooking skills the kitchen is very well equipped, there is even a wine cooler and a breakfast bar. There are three generously proportioned bedrooms, all thoughtfully decorated with colour co-ordinated soft furnishings, the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath and double walk-in shower. There is a separate snug with a large sofa and television and patio doors leading to the garden, lots of space for everyone to enjoy. This area is well known for outdoor activities and there is no shortage of bridle paths, quiet country roads and cycle tracks. The Loch Leven Heritage Trail which is a unique 13 mile, traffic-free trail around the north and east shores of Loch Leven. The loch has two islands to visit in the summer and a nature reserve. Surrounded by the Lomonds to the east, the Ochils to the west and Benarty Hill to the south, there are plenty of opportunities for hill walking. For the golf enthusiast, the area is home to a number of challenging courses, including Kinnesswood, Kinross and Milnathort. Causeway Cottage is a good location for exploring further afield with the M90 just over 7 miles away with direct access to Edinburgh, Inverness and the picturesque Fife coastal villages.
