A great location and you can hear and see the trains going up Snowdon. The property has a lot of character and clean and private. Good for dogs.

Cefn Bryn was a great find. Its location affords fantastic views over the valley all the way across to Snowdon. You can even see the train chugging its way up the summit. Given its apparent remoteness the location is only 5 or 6 mins drive to LLanberis and another 5 or 10 to a major supermarket. The cottage was large enough to accommodate the six of us but still felt as though it would be cosy enough in the colder months with the Log Burner running. We found the cottage very clean, well appointed, had all of the facilities we required and was is a great location. I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely owners who do a great job maintaining and looking after the Cottage. We really would like to return to Cefn Bryn in the not too distant future!

Lovely cottage with stunning views across the valley to Snowdon, brilliant for sitting in the conservatory or terrace and having a relaxing evening. Very spacious cottage in a quiet rural location. From the door you can walk to Dinorwig quarry for climbing/exploring; descend into forrest trails taking you to Llanberis; or if you're keen then walk up to Elidir Fawr. Only down side is that there are no amenities within walking distance (but we knew this when booking). Llanberis is 15 mins by car, so not a big problem. The driveway is a little awkward being on a hill but spacious enough to manouver and park several cars, and the only thing we really wished it had was a dishwasher and more comfortable sofas. We had a fantastic week here and would happily stay again.

Excellent accommodation with superb views from the sun lounge over Lyn Padarn and mountains surrounding Snowdon and Snowdon itself, making for a very relaxing holiday indeed. Perfect for touring Snowdonia, the Lleyn peninsula, Anglesey and the Coast down to Barmouth. I have no reservations about recommending this property highly it is probably the best I have been to in about 50 years of holiday making of this kind and price level.

Heating system overly complicated. More glassware/wine glasses required. Internet speeds are good but needs to be unlimited usage to cope with modern day requirements.
