Hoseasons "Set on the Isle of Anglesey this pretty cottage provides the perfect base to explore the range of local attractions and the beach close by.\n\nEnjoying panoramic views this spacious and comfortable single-storey detached property nestles at the end of a short private track amidst farmland. Situated in the village of Carreglefn it is just a short drive from Cemaes Bay a pretty fishing village with two beaches and a good selection of cafés and local shops. Cerrig yr Errin boasts lovely lawned gardens and also has a ventilation system within the cottage which circulates clean air throughout the property making it beneficial to asthma and allergy sufferers.\nThe location makes a perfect base for family holidays with many visitor attractions within easy reach including the 13th-century Beaumaris Castle and Anglesey Sea Zoo. Why not take a tour around the Halen Môn visitor centre to learn all about the history of sea salt in the region. A visit to National Trust houses such as Swtan Heritage Museum and Plas Newydd House and Gardens will make a great day out. The Island of Anglesey offers fantastic opportunities for a range of outdoor activities including walking cycling fishing and golf as well as seal and puffin watching. The port of Holyhead is close by for day trips to Ireland and the Snowdonia National Park with its exhilarating range of outdoor pursuits is also easily accessible. Beach 2 miles. Excellent holiday. House and location was great and had a great time

The cottage is down a private track and not overlooked, a lovely garden for the dogs. My husband, his mother and I stayed for a week, my comments are to improve a good stay to an even better stay. The sky box is next to useless, only half of the 50 or so channels work, I suggest a FREESAT box, over 300 watchable channels, the box costs around £40. The bedding in the end bedroom was covered in black bobbles and looked grubby. You need some pint glasses and some trays so folks can eat and watch telly. The shower tray fills with water and does not drain quick enough so you have to keep turning off the shower, I see this was mentioned by a previous guest and has not been rectified. A time-table of when the refuse is collected would have been helpful as the bin was full, and we missed the collection. Having said all that we would book again, especially if you sort the Freesat box for my elderly mother.

Fantastic location, great for birds, warm and snug. Isolated and private. Perfect!

Lovely location, great size cottage and garden. A few things need upgrading. The first thing you see is an old rusty handrail next to the keysafe, not good for 1st impressions. Definitely better once inside. Plenty of clean towels which is always good. Second double bed has a lumpy mattress and is not too comfortable to sleep on.

    Brilliant for a quiet getaway

What a gorgeous, quiet and secluded cottage. The mark for local amenities was due to the cottage being so rural which was what we wanted so not actually a mark down for me but worth knowing for future visitors. Cemeas Bay just 3 miles from the cottage was such a lovely spot to visit, we actually went twice. The cottage had everything we needed and after a 3 night break we left feeling very refreshed. We look forward to visiting again, hopefully in the summer to fully experience the space outside!

This is a lovely cottage and suited us perfectly. There were lovely personal touches (tea/coffee, milk and welsh cakes for arrival) and there was plenty of spaces for 3 children, 3 adults and a dog. Lots of lovely places to visit close by. No local amenities so would advice being organised and having stuff in. Lovely big garden.

We stayed in this lovely cottage for five nights whilst I was working in the area. It is very cosy, warm and has lots of living space for a bungalow. It is situated at the end of a small track / lane and is surrounded by beautiful countryside. We felt the cottage had everything we needed for our stay. It is only a short drive away from lovely Caemas Bay where our dogs were allowed on the beach. The owners were really friendly and did everything they could to ensure we were comfortable. We hope to return in the future when the weather is better!
