This large farmhouse is situated in the pretty medieval village of Saint-Ambroix, located in the Gard region. This lovely home is set in a quiet residential area, close to shops, yet within easy reach of the bustling city of Alès. The farmhouse dates from 1780 and has been renovated to become a spacious and comfortable holiday home with air conditioning. A lovely large swimming pool awaits with a pool house and outdoor shower, ideal for relaxing and cooling down in the hot summer months. The large enclosed garden is great for children to play within or relax peacefully in the tranquil surroundings and the two terraces ensure plenty of outdoor dining and entertaining. The gorges of Ardèche are just 25km from the house and will be an ideal destination for water activities. Shopaholics will enjoy discovering Barjac and its flea markets. Vallon Pont d’Arc, the Mecca of prehistory besides its beautiful landscapes, houses caves that will amaze young and old, including Cave Déroc and the famous Chauvet Cave among others. The beautiful medieval town of Uzès is also worth a visit: stroll through the narrow streets and barter on the Provençal markets.
