This property is fantastic, but it would be great to have wifi, also some cushions for the outside seating, or some more comfortable outside seating to sit on in the evening, other than that it is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the environment. Highly recommended.

Gorgeous views over lake Windermere. Welcome pack and wine lovely on arrival - thank you! Took our inflatable kayak and played on the lake every day. Could walk into Windermere via a quiet lane thus avoiding the main road. Hired a boat for a few hours and visited various viewpoints. Hired a 4x4 and had an off-road safari. Went across the lake on the ferry. Amazing holiday. Would definitely recommend.

A very pleasant location with great views of the lake. Nice balcony. Good having two en-suites. Downsides of our stay. No internet access. Very poor hot water to the kitchen sink. Twin bed mattresses very tired. Mould on tiles and on shower curtain in main bedroom en-suite. But have to say we really enjoyed our stay and would like to use again. The Chalet Over The lake is a good location for a peaceful stay.

Great views. Walking distance to ferry and Bowness. Well decorated, comfortable and quiet. Arrived to a Bottle of wine and a pint of milk chilling (Thank you) and tea, coffee and biscuits. The only negative issue was we had to go and buy bin liners for the kitchen bin as there was not any left for us. Thoroughly recommend this location and accommodation.

We loved this property. The views over the lake were beautiful whatever the weather. We found the property to be very clean and tidy, plus spacious enough to store all our items. The bottle of wine left by the owner was a nice touch. We intend to come back and stay again another time.
