We went when the floods were on,so could not really tour around, the games room then came into its own,Lovely people but the clients before did leave it in a bit of a mess in the kitchen, hence my cleanliness mark.Pots and pans and the oven were not how one expects them to be. No complaints otherwise and I feel anyone would appreciate this great house.

Couldn't have wished for a better place to stay! We stayed here for a 50th birthday surprise 8 adults and 4 kids and the lady and gent that owned the place were so welcoming and spoke to us on a few occasions during the stay. The cottage was really homely and the living room was so cosy with a log fire. It was only 40-50 minute drive to get to places. Would recommend this place highly.

A basic clean warm spacious property with large rooms . Tricky stairs for elderly.however a downstairs sofa bed and bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Super games room attached to cosy lounge with woodburner. Bathrooms very small not ensuite . Calves visible across the yard from the property. A super spot for our 3 family get together.

Loved it. 8 oldies meeting together. Our host was attentive, responsive and friendly. I promised I would feedback that a lit fire and warm house would have been great to arrive to given the weather, and the cooker was difficult to manage. We told our host this as we were leaving, and she was interested in what we had to say. We had a fab 3 nights.... And we'd go there again. Fabulous house and garden. Lucky to find it.

The cottage itself is very nice to look at from the outaide and has its own quirkiness inside and even the location is great. BUT it needs a very deep clean. There were cobwebs everywhere. The beds and furniture had stains all over and it was so dusty.

For some people it might feel out of the way and in the middle of no where. That is if you are used to a town and expect every thing around the corner but it is really lovely. Perfect for a family get together with a large kitchen table that every one can sit around and just enjoy each others company. My grandson of 3 1/2 was in 7th heaven seeing the cows and of course tractors. The older ones were a bit disappointed about the lack of a phone signal and weak internet but my son -in -law loved it because no one could get hold of him. There was 8 of us and every one loved it. The games room was a real asset and fun.

If you dont mind being next to a farm then this place is fantastic. The owner was so nice, they called us after we left to notify us that we left something behing, which they kindly offered to send.
