Situated just outside the pretty village of Singleton, also known as ’The Model Village of the Fylde’, Chellow Dene is conveniently located close to the Fylde Coast. For those keen on walking, there are plenty of walks through the village of Singleton and into the surrounding area. There are also plenty of cycling opportunities. Fishing is available in the neighbouring fields. For those wanting to relax, Ribby Hall Spa is just 10 minutes away, and the local gin distillery, Black Powder Gin is a must. Poulton-le-Fylde is just 3 miles away and has a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. There are also lots of family friendly pubs in the area, as well as play centres for children.
Blackpool, whose many attractions include the famous Blackpool Tower, Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, Madame Tussauds, Blackpool Zoo and Sandcastle Water Park, is just 6 miles away. For a more laid back seaside experience, Cleveleys, 6 miles, has an award-winning seafront, and the cosmopolitan town of Lytham St Annes, 10 miles, is famous for its five championship golf courses and annual Proms. The popular sleepy market town of Garstang, 12 miles, offers a variety of boutique shops, cafés and pubs, as well as a weekly Thursday market. The historic city of Lancaster can be reached within 30 minutes and boasts a wealth of restaurants, shops and pubs; if you fancy adding a bit of history and culture into your trip, then head up to the castle for stories of the famous Pendle witches.
